Client/Trust account

Hi there. I represent a real estate company and we're looking for an fm solution to handle the Trust Accounting side of our operations. Has anyone heard of any solutions that are either FM based, or otherwise are ODBC compatible

Giving a little more information may help you out here.

Are you in real estate sales or real estate management? The trust requirements are vastly different.

Sales is pretty much a one time entry in and a one time entry out or at worst a series of deposits in and one entry out on closing. Someone could probably built it fairly cheaply.

Management is a whole other story, with all expenses and all incomes being handled in trust for the property owner. You are into much more of a book keeping system with audit tracks etc.

Hi David,

Thanks for your advice. Well our company does both actually, ie Sales and Rental (which includes property management).

Hence I would assume that it is not so simple as you have mentioned due to property management factor.
