I work for a landscape architect and we are trying to tailor our filemaker to our needs. We are looking for a sales pipeline dashboard that displays each of the projects status. Additionally we would want it to be filtered by each sales representative and company wide. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a dashboard like this or if someone can point me in the right direction to finding one.

[color:purple]May I suggest at least trying to design your own? It actually isn't too hard. For the filtering by sales rep, you might want to set up a table with the ID or name (whichever you use for relationships) of the sales reps, then set up a relationship that goes through that value to the sales data you want. You can then put a portal with sales data on a layout that uses the table of sales reps.

That's one of the simpler ways of doing it -- if you wanted a more flexible relationship, you could set up an intermediary table connecting the two. Or if you want each person to see only his or her own data, you could set up a field with a calculation returning the active account name (assuming each person logs on with his or her own account), and then link that field back in a relationship that restricts what the end user would see when viewing layouts linked to that particular table instance.

I hope this isn't too complex to understand -- I'm never sure of people's skill level or willingness to experiment. I also don't write elaborate code for people in the forums, as I only have a few minutes to help out every so often. But others here may be willing to flesh out this and other ideas, if you want to try to design your own.

I have a work group aware CRM that has an opportunities section that may do what you want. Opportunities can be reported by work group member, client, pipeline status etc.
