I'm moving our Filemaker 5.5 server to a new PC and have found certain databases that I do not wish to share. Is there a way to prevent certain database files from being shared?

Copy the files from the server and run them on a standalone machine.

Once open, under File menu you will find an option for sharing. There you can set the file to single user, shared or shared but hidden. The shared but hidden means that file can still be shared but not seen by users
