May 2, 201213 yr Hi, Just starting to learn FM, and I'm stumped by the below. I know what it does, it is a button to perform an action. Question is, what kind of button is it? I tried to manually do this by putting a portal, and placing a button in the first row of the portal just like how the fields are, but it does not work, the button stays only in the first row. Is this some kind of special button? May i know how can i do it? Now, i just copy and paste from samples.. , but i like to understand what i am using. Thanks!
May 2, 201213 yr make sure the entire button in in the top line of the portal in layout mode. Also make sure that your portal is indeed showing multiple lines from the child side of the relationship.
May 2, 201213 yr the button stays only in the first row. Sounds like the button is not really in the portal. Make sure that the upper-left corner of the object is within the first row of the portal.

May 3, 201213 yr Author I understand now! Thanks so much.. just drag an image in..... click and make it a button.. i did not know FM could do that.... however there is something strange... something special about that icon.. when i resize it.. the borders expand and resizes, but the image itself remains the same size... how did that happen? When i drag in an image and i resize it.. the image resizes when i drag it.. just curious why.
