Has anyone installed .net 3.5 on their FileMaker Server 11 installation? Was it OK or was there any conflicts problems after the installation?

We need to create some sort of bridge between FileMaker and a thirdparty program and the developers of the third party program have asked us to install .net 3.5 on our servers so they can create a connector between the two.
