Disable automatic Field resize in iPad

Fields resize automatically when getting focus on an iPad. Is there a way to prevent this?

Yes, add scroll bars to the field.

Adding scroll bars disables auto resize. But now how do I hide it from being displayed ? Should I overlay a shape and hide it?

You can put it on a tab panel and just show the appropriate one for the platform.
