fmow Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I literally copy and paste the default folder address and delete part of the path, and it still won't validate it? What gives?
Wim Decorte Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 what part did you delete? In the resulting path, make sure that FMS has the proper privileges.
Rick Whitelaw Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I literally copy and paste the default folder address and delete part of the path, and it still won't validate it? What gives? Is it a folder on a network drive?
fmow Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 Yeap, / included. I deleted, say up to library/ or something like this, it won't work with any truncation. It's a usb ssd on a controller, soon to be part of a thunderbolt array hopefully. Hi Wim, yeah I remember your bit on privileges in the vtc course, there's a separate user fmserver or something right? That I have to explicitly provide privileges to in os x, unless I follow the default. That could quite possibly be it. Unless I am doing something really inane I can't figure out.
