Create an iPhone home screen alias/bookmark to open a FMGo file and layout?

I have a photo capture layout in my contacts DB and I would like an automation/script to open a specific layout in FMGo from my iPhone home screen.  Is that possible?

The FileMaker Go App Maker can make an iOS configuration profile that will put an icon on your home screen to launch a file or run a specific script (which could go to the layout you want).

Couple of questions:  

 

The linked file has a file configuration in layout/utility/selectedfile already for file name Contacts.fm12  (see link to sceenshot).  When I tried to clear that out I got an error message from the field: file_subprofile "This action cannot be performed because this field is not modifiable." Please advise.

 

Also, I'm a newbie, I was wondering if I'm supposed to know the code to write the scrip or if there is a manual I could use to figure it out.

You shouldn't have to be futzing with anything on that layout. Everything you need is on the "AppMaker" layout. If you find any issues with AppMaker, you should probably report them on TechNet rather than here.
