Is there anyone who can help me with a serious issue with FileMaker Pro 9 server on windows server 2003, had to reinstall fm server due to power failure, damaged file and forgotten password. Now I can only get as far as the console download page, and bang brick wall. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Can you describe the "brick wall" a little better: what happens, what error messages do you see, what do the logs say?

Basically, when I get to the deployment stage, I get as far as the Filemaker 9 Console screen, Im then asked to download the Java web app and then the process seems to go into a loop. We were getting other messages such as Admin console cannot start please open database server. Something along that line.

Very likely a java issue.  Check the old FMS9 requirements for what version of java it used and install that one, remove the more recent ones.

Have tried this numerous times but still run into the same issues, i'll be back at the server later on an sen you on some pics to give u a better idea of whats going on,
