Is it possible to port a custom certificate that I've been using in my production FMS13 system to be used for FMS14 without having to have it reissued?

 

I'll be decommissioning the equipment that is currently running FMS13, which is a single Mac server.  The new equipment will be a two machine configuration that will have the same IP and domain name addresses as previous.

 

 

Should be, as long as the certificate matches all the right things on the new mac server.  Specifically the names.  But worst case, i fyou set up the new FMS box with the right old name you can just regenerate the CSR and get the certificate re-issued again, it's a small step.

My recollection is that you'll need to re-key the certificate if it is in SHA-1 format, as FMS 14 requires the site's cert to be SHA-2 encoded.
