Ocean West Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 Here is a basic calendar that I put together. I replaced the attachment. Version: v7.x Platform: Mac OS X Panther cal.zip
Ocean West Posted March 9, 2004 Author Posted March 9, 2004 Sorry I will need to re do this for some reason this file is corrupted. - And I mean my LOCAL fp7 file it won't recover. - must be a beta thing. I NEVER setup any passwords?!
Ocean West Posted March 9, 2004 Author Posted March 9, 2004 I fixed the file on the first post you can try it now. There are no passwords.
Mariano Peterson Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 Corruption, already? I guess file stability wasn't one of the new features. Nice calendar, though.
Ocean West Posted March 9, 2004 Author Posted March 9, 2004 - And I was told that I would "NEVER" have to use the 'recover' again - It's got to be a beta thing-
andygaunt Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 Um - When you go forward to April, MAy, June etc watch the second Wednesday!!
willi Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 Hi, yeah thx, looks good (by the way: no sun here in Hamburg, already snow) Willi
Ocean West Posted March 9, 2004 Author Posted March 9, 2004 It should be initial row 11 instead of 22
DykstrL Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 I saw a demo in Seattle 2 weeks ago where they showed a calendar done in FM7 that used only ONE field and ONE script. The calendar also automatically higlighted the current date. Really cool! I am trying to get a copy of that file.
Ocean West Posted March 11, 2004 Author Posted March 11, 2004 dykstrl I thought that's what I saw too. I was going to try and do that but. It made my brain hurt

rivet Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 one field, one script.... can you elaborate please. This that the whole solution or the displaying of a list of events? I will be heading into calendar mode soon, so any concepts would be great and any samples would be amazing. - thx
Fitch Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 This is a mini-calendar implemented as a custom function: http://www.clevelandconsulting.com/support/viewtopic.php?t=72
Ender Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 Wow. That mini calendar function is way cool. --Mike
Vaughan Posted March 26, 2004 Posted March 26, 2004 Even more impressive: I was downloader number 169!
Crag Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 Anyone have a calendar (date picker) for FM6? The one one I can find is not cheap. It's basically a whole calendar system and the only way to get at the sripts behind the calendar is to pay the developer $599.00. There's got to be some date picker for FM 6 someplace.
Lee Smith Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 Please do not double post. This is really just one list, with several topic areas that are designed to help you put your question in an area that you feel comes the closes to your question. If you miss the mark, you will still get answers. This area is for Sample Files & Open Source Solution. I answered your original posts. Lee
qwerty` Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 the calendar that Ocean West has created is really neat and nice. Thanks for sharing! I have placed the calendar into my own fp7 application. The calendar works fine in its own layout (which is set to show records from the datepick table) but when i tried to copy the calendar onto another layout (which is set to show records from another table) it says unrelated tables. Anyway to allow the calendar to share a layout with another table?
