Slow response

In FM7 when formatting a field for a value list , when formatted as popup list the response is extremely extremely slow but when formatted as a pop up menu the reponse is very fast. Why the slowdown... anything to do with the anti-aliasing.. Anyone else experiance this problem??

I'm having very very slow value list / pop up list response. 2 to 3 seconds for what was instantaneous on V6. Driving me crazy!

I have the same probs on a Mac with OS X 10.3.3.
