Has / does anyone use multiple monitors with vers. 7? Are there any ways to have different layouts on 2 screens. I suspect this may be a problem because windows in FMP are MDI children and not seperated. Perhaps using a 3rd part monitor utility?

A bandaid approaach may be to run 7 and Dev 7 simultainiously? ...

I would like hear what others are doing or have tried.

Is v.7 different in this respect? I don't have 2 PC monitors, so I can't tell you much, but I've used v.6 on PC's at offices on 2 monitors, no problem. I don't know how they did it, but they were not computer wizards by any means, so it must not have been too difficult.

As per comment by Charles Delfs - works great and no issues on mac.

For Windows, I can't get the FileMaker application itself automatically open across two or more monitors. I can stretch it out after it's opened.

You can position/size individual layout windows across multiple monitors either when it's first displayed, or manually after the fact.
