Business Tracker- Please help me!

I am using Business Tracker. For some reason or another it will not allow me to input information on my Contact Details Location section.... WHY!? I cannot seem to get this to work. It seems like a wonderful solution, but editing it is a pain in the rear!

Please help me soon! confused.gif

I have reviewed Business Tracker, Shaina, but don't have it with me at the moment. Two things ...

On most of the Detail screens, when you add to a 'related table', ie, you are in Contacts and wanting to add to Locations -- or you are in Companies and want to add to Contacts, etc, you must do so by clicking the + at the top-right corner of the Location section. You can not just type into the fields to create a new Location. The reason is because these are portals and new records in the portal are scripted. See if you have a +/- to click.

Also, see if you are accidently signed in as a Guest. Guests can not create records. I'll bet you have a + to click - that's the way the majority of that solution works. Good luck to you. And if you are still having problems, let me know and I'll check that program when I get home tonight. smile.gif

Shaina, when you first click a field in Location, it selects it (turns it blue). Then click it again and you should be able to edit the field. If nothing is displayed in the Location, it means there are no records yet and you will need to click the + to add a Location.
