Trying to see if FMP can do what I need it to....

Can FMP7 have dropdown list where user can select more than one item form list?

Is there a Max # of characters that can be used within the list?

Can images be imported from a camera?

Can final form be ran by itself?

Use on a Pocket Pc or Palm?

Thanks for your time.

Not exactly. You can create a field with all the selctions and the user can select more than one. Or - you can get creative, create a portal with all the selections in them that the user clicks on and runs a script that adds the seletion to the target field.

I'm certain that someone here knows this answer, its kinda like how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop.. I may never know.

Yes

Huh?

Yes and Yes, although the mobile version for 7 is waiting to be released.

You can use a menu or a list in version 7. With a menu, you have to make a selection, click the field again, and press Shift to select another option or deselect a previously selected one when more than one is currently selected. With a list, you hold down Shift or Ctrl to select a range or ignore particular values, similar to the way you would select or deselect a group of files in a folder. You have to press Enter in order for the selections to be saved if you use a list, whereas a menu will automatically update the field when a single option has been selected/deselected.

I didn't know this about holdng shift or ctrl to select from the list. Very cool! I suppose that if this solution were going to be used by the general masses, you'd have to add a blurb of these instructions on your layout. Very cool though.
