Using Find Mode to bring up a specific data range

Featured Replies

find mode has worked beautifully for me until this wrench in the cogs came up...

how would you search a specific RANGE of things...for example, if you are identifying records by number and you want numbers 01-50 only. I know there is a script function to do that, but that's also pre-set, so it wouldn't be as flexible as i'd like.

any thoughts as to what I can do?

search for 1..50

You could also use two global number fields for the beginning and end values. Then in Find Mode, Insert Calculated Result [numfield, globalnum1 & "..." & globalnum2].
