I have a self join relationship that I use to find a value in a field that the user requests. This all works great, except when I export to either XML or Excel. My numbers are not formated. They are just like I entered them. I have it relating to a layout were the numbers are formated and I have make sure the check box is checked to pass on the formating to the export.

This is driving me crazy, the same export procedure works great if the export does not need to be related by a self join. What am I missing.

I figured it out. You have to go to the layout prior to exporting to save the formating.
