I want to e-mail a letter to a found set in my database. The letter will have record specific data in it. Is there a sample script? Should the letter be its own layout? I'm really clueless as to how to get started. I did a search in the forums, but couldn't find a solution. Thanks for any help or pointers to some other web resource!

What OS and version of Filemaker do you use? You might want to update your profile.

On Mac OS X and FMPro7 you can do this by creating a script which uses the "Send Mail" script step. It should be able to send mail to all of your recipients as listed in your found set.

If you need to send individualized content to each recipient then you should be able to do this by putting the Send Mail step inside a loop which steps through each record in the found set.
