In FMP 6, you can start the name of your fields with an underscore "_" and they will sort to the bottom of the list when you do a "Sort by Name". However, in FMP7, these fields sort to the top with a name sort.

eg.

_DateCreate

_DateModify

_NameCreate

_NameModify

_g_number

_g_text

What character can be used to make the fields go to the bottom of the list?

I don't want users to get confused if they see a bunch of developer fields at the top of the list.

These appear to be Developer fields, so just prepend z or zc to them. For example:

zc_createdDate, zc_createdName, zc_modifiedDate, zc_modifiedName

(as per the Core Development Standards). Use a divider in your fields table, something like

Z ----- DEVELOPER FIELDS -----
