Newbies Mr_Scripter Posted November 3, 2004 Newbies Posted November 3, 2004 Hiya guys, Just a note to introduce myself to the group and to ask a question (first time I had to do that in a very, very long time ). I'm a FMP developer working and living in Sheffield, UK. I have been working with FMP since version 1 and kind of have a black-belt in the subject. I work primarily on the Mac OS X platform but am comfortable with anything with a keyboard My Question: I did something incredibly dumb recently and wrote a script which quits FMP if a condition is not met, then assigned it to be performed on opening the file via File Options There used to be a keyboard shortcut to bypass the startup script but I have tried just about everything and nowt works - can anyone suggest a workaround? Thanks in advance for any advice. Paul
Wim Decorte Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Make a relationship from the file from another file and it will open for you without running the script.
transpower Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Another poster did this same thing yesterday! Just go into layout mode and open or add another table in that same file. You will then have access to all your scripts for that file.
