March 10, 200520 yr ok fm7 is making me quite self-aware of my lack of independence. it seems that every time i try to do anything in the define databases dialog (tables/fields/relationships) and close it i spend a solid 20-30 seconds rebuilding my dependencies. i don't have all that much to my system yet -- about 20 mostly empty tables and a tangle of various relationships but no external files. my machine is not a speed demon (G4/400) but c'mon, this is such a drag to work like this. anyone else experiencing this speed hit whenever messing with the relationship graph?

March 10, 200520 yr Was this upgraded from an earlier version of FMP? If so you should check your file references. I found that there was a ton of old refrences in there and when I cleaned it up it ran a ton faster. HTH, John
