I just recentely found out that if you copy text from a AS400 session and paste it into a FM7 database it doesnt paste correctly it works fine in FM6 is there any fix for this? It pastes something like this 1234[][][][] ... Help please!!

I don't know what a AS400 is, so I'm not sure what's happening with your paste.

AFAIK, nothing changed in the Paste function from v6 to v7.

Are you using version 7.0.3?

Was there a change in Platform, operating systems, machines, etc. too?

The AS400 is an IBM computer. There is one change from 6 to 7, 7 uses unicode. Check what language your field is set to display. If it is english, try unicode.

I assume the [] are boxes which means the character is unknown.
