I use the scriptmaker to create the set field however it will not not let me enter ";" like what the manual stated.

Isn't this the syntax ?

set field [file::table;value]

I can not get scriptmaker to accept the ";" at all.

It automatically puts it in. All you have to do is assign the target field and enter the calculated result.

The following should work, I just tested it in a a script and Text Field.

Set Field [ YourDB::YourField ; ";" ]
