I think trackpad scrolling is more a function of the hardware and OS. MacBooks and MacBook Pros can do it. It gives the same functionality as a scroll wheel on a mouse.

FileMaker 8 and later have built-in scroll-wheel support on the Mac. For older versions, check out this:

Thanks Ender, I use a PowerBook G4 and two finger trackpad scrolling is enabled for lots of older application but not for FMP7. So it doesn't look like an OS or hardware issue. I am pleased that it may be enabled in later versions of FMP from 8 onwards. Strange why an important functionality is not included in a product closely associated with Apple Mac.
