Newbies VernK Posted January 19, 2008 Newbies Posted January 19, 2008 Hi All First post here, hope I'm in a good place to start. I have a database that value list for radio buttons that is filled with a calculated field. The calculation concatenates two fields from a related table. It also is set to be only filled with the values related to the record in use. This worked wonderfully until last week sometime, when suddenly the value list no longer matches the order I added the two fields in, but is now sorting the list alphabeticaly. Also, now I'm getting a warning that the value list "won't work" because it can't be indexed, due to the use of related fields. Any clues why this has suddenly happened? I haven't done any updates or reinstalls, Leopard and 9v3 have been on the machine for nearly a month now. Yours Hopefully Vern
Newbies VernK Posted January 19, 2008 Author Newbies Posted January 19, 2008 (edited) Never mind, I figured it out. The behaviour is correct but I had inserted spaced to get the sort order right, didn't add a comment and a year later (last week) stripped out the spaces as a mistake in the data. I can be such a plank at times. Yours Vern Edited January 19, 2008 by Guest
