Possible to run Filemaker Pro 9 on Windows XP Media Center?

Hello - I've just purchased Filemaker Pro 9, tried to install on my PC (OS = Windows XP Media Center) Installs, but crashes immediately upon launching. Called Tech support, and learned that FM 9 is not certified to run on XP Media Center.

Is that correct? My understanding is that XP Media Center is a superset of XP, and I've never encounted a problem with any other software.

I've been holding off on making the switch to Vista, but if anyone has any other suggestions I would very much appreciate hearing from you.
