Training & Certification Software

I have been searching and searching for an application to manage the training and certifications for our personnel. The only solution I've seen that is almost right is a program called Training Manager 2008 by Kaizen Software Solutions. This program is obviously (to me anyway) written as a database application, tho I don't know which one. The main problem with it is that it is Windows only and we run an all-Mac environment. I use Windows installed on my computer via Parallels, but am not going to buy and install it across the board to all machines for one program, yet it needs to be accessed by more than just me.

I'm looking for a solution similar to this one, but that will run on Mac, preferably w/ Filemaker as we have that already (and I can upgrade if needed).

Does anybody know if there is already something developed out there? Or if it can be done affordably (my db skills are primitive, and I don't have the time on top of that)?

Hello,

I've just had a look at the Kaizen Software site and at the details for the Training Manager application. It appears that the same functionality could be easily achieved by a FileMaker solution.

I would be willing to have a go at it and send you a prototype file to try... Are you using FileMaker Pro 9? If you like it, then we could discuss continuing to build you a complete solution that meets your requirements and at an affordable cost.

You can email me at [email protected]

Sky.
