Deactivation For Volume License

Featured Replies

I want to uninstall FM9 (recently installed FM10). I understand that I now have to deactivate the copy of FM9 before I can uninstall. According to the Help file that would normally be done under the Help menu but since this is a volume licensed copy, according to FM Knowledge Base, the Deactivation option is not available. FM Knowledge Base (Answer ID 6470) offered a couple of resolutions. 1. use a file with the options available, 2. close and then re launch Filemaker. The first is not an option and the second didn’t work (didn’t really make any sense to me). Any suggestions on how to deactivate a volume license copy of FM9?

Thanks

Nor
