Jeremy G Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Okay I need help BADLY... I spent 7 hours trying to fingure this out and I cannot. If you have any experience with JobPro Central 6.0 there is something I am trying to create. This is a very good program but way too much for what I need to do. I enter data for a company that sorts parts and right now we are using 14 different excel files to enter data that gets entered 2 to 3 different times over. In JobPro they have a section call contacts. In the contacts tab you can see a list of contact for the customer. Which works PERFECTLY for me because some of our customers has multiple contacts. You can click on the contact for that customer or enter a new contact. When you do this it takes you to a contact page that is just for this customer. How to do this. If you can look at the JobPro Central 6.0. Please I really need to get this done ASAP though. Any help I would be VERY greatful. Jer
Lee Smith Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 JobPro Central 6.0 is a commercial program. If you go to their Site , they say they have support. Why not ask them your questions. Lee
Jeremy G Posted July 19, 2009 Author Posted July 19, 2009 (edited) I thought about that but I don't think they would be willing to tell me how they made this portal or how ever they made this. I don't have JobPro Central. That has more functions than I could use. Just trying to make the contact page like they have is all. Im not looking to remake their whole program just this one part. Jer It sounds as if the contacts are in a portal and you click on the portal and go to the contact. If this is so: 1. You need a script that as the go To Related Record command. Show only related records. Do it in a new window. 2. Attach the fields in the portal to the script so they in effect become the button 3. To leave that screen have a script that just closes the window. HTH Dave McQueen Edited July 19, 2009 by Guest
