May 14, 201114 yr When in Find mode, striking the Enter/Return key causes a 'Find' to be executed. I have buttons on my 'Find' layout that will either Find/Constrain/Extend/Show all/Show omitted. I would like FM to ignore the Enter/Return key since there is no way to tell which of these the user wants to accomplish and the Enter/Return key can send the user back to square zero on a complex search. Is there a way to trap and ignore an 'Enter/Return' keystroke when in Find mode?
May 14, 201114 yr I believe so - if you set script triggers on both the layout and all its fields. --- Sorry, that's incorrect - you only need a script trigger on the layout. I rigged my test file to run only when no field is active and I keep forgetting it's not a built-in feature. Edited May 15, 201114 yr by comment
