Newbies MichaelAshley Posted July 31, 2011 Newbies Posted July 31, 2011 On iPad, there is an unappealing gray overlay that appears about 1-2 seconds after content load in the web viewer. Tapping on the viewer makes this go away. Has anyone experienced this, and is there a way to avoid it? I have content I don't want users to interact with in some cases, and in any case, I don't see the benefit of this overlay. Screenshot attached. Many thanks! Michael Ashley update: The latest FM Go iPad update did not address this.
fmjip Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Hi, I have the same issue, the only way to avoid this, is to disable the interaction with the web viewer when you design it on your layout. In my case, I need the interaction, so it does not suit. I tried to tab to an other object on the layout or systematically commit the record, the web viewer seems to be active in any cases. This behavior really seems inappropriate and only occurs in Go, not FileMaker Pro. Jean-Philippe
Newbies Paul Hutton Posted July 30, 2013 Newbies Posted July 30, 2013 I've found that going to the web viewer object solves this problem. Detailed steps: • In layout mode, give the web viewer object a name (top of the Inspector's Position tab). Say I've named it "web viewer". • Use the following script step: Go to Object ( "web viewer" )
