Hi people,

 

sorry for being noob but I have one question.

 

I'm working in one small touristic agency and we are using FM10 software of one guy that is designed to put travel reservations in it etc. We paid normaly big price for the app, but every year he is asking for "hosting" about 300euros per year. Is that price real or he is cheating us?

Our base isn't much big, about 10.000 names with some small personal info.

Google 'FileMaker Hosting'.  You will see the average price for hosting stuff with a hosting company is between $20 - 30.

 

So the question is now...is your FileMaker Server hosted with a company ( possibly the developer himself ), or is the server onsite?  How is the uptime? Any problems with access to your solution?
