I am using FM 12 adv 03 on OSX and Windows

The problem I am having is with the SelectFile function.

When I am running the 'runtime' version of my Members application FM acts squirrely; ie, it shows (on the Mac) about 45 seconds of the 'spinning ball of death' before it finally continues.  I think this is because I don't have SM plugin registered properly.  Here is the code in my startup script that is supposed to register SelectFile:

I think SelectFile is not registering properly because I get the dialog box and the script pauses; as it should.

... and here is the Groovey function code:

I am not a Groovey programmer and do not know if I have the registration code properly written.

Can you see what I might be doing wrong?

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

I deleted FM and reinstalled it.  Seemed to let things work ok.

But, it does raise another question:

"When I am in the development mode and after I save a COPY OF ..... the existing app, when I Import the saved .fmp12 file, it produces this information box:

If can take 5 minutes for the records (of which there are in reality only 61... not 20,000+) to load.  If I click STOP, the import script continues to import as desired.   What causes this box to appear????

Also, while in development mode, if I run the same import script and bring in a .fmpur file, I DO NOT get the information box.  Likewise, if I import a .fmp12 file that was NOT saved from the current application, (ie, it is a file from a previous build) I DO NOT get the information box.

The box ONLY appears when I try and import, a previously Saved .fmp12 file.

Thanks
