Should I have any issues connecting to a database, which is located on a FileMaker Server in the US, while working in the UK?

 

I currently can access the databases on the server remotely from my home computer in the US.

Performance will vary according to any number of factors.  But you should be able to connect to a properly configured machine.

Also be sure that where you are working in the UK can connect on Port 5003 for FileMaker network traffic - some routers / firewalls may not have this open by default.

Thank you for your responses.  I will be using the same laptop I currently use to connect remotely from home while I'm over there.  Hoping there won't be too many issues.
