File Path for External Open Storage on MAC server

Hi:

I'm running filemaker server 12 and have my container fields in the databse set to External (open) storage. The path is set to default. I assumed the image files would be stored in the same directory as the live database file but can't find it. Does anyone know where the default path to the storage is on a MAC Serve?
