I need help writting a calculation for a scheduling tool. I need to write a calculation that determines the start date when you know the end date (delivery date) and the amount of days for each milestone between the start and end dates and of course calculating only using weekdays; for instance:

 

Start date: unknown

Picking: 2 days

Packing: 3 days

Shipping: 4 days

Delivery date: 4/1/2014

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Lee. It's been a while since i visited the FMForums.

If you are just looking to figure an End date based on the number of days you pick, there have been several discussions about this over the years. Here is a calculation by comment back in 2005 that will get you started. Add or Subtract Working Days
