Hi all

 

I need to compact our database. Is it OK to simply Close it in FMS console, then retrieve the database from C:Program FilesFileMakerFileMaker ServerDataDatabases, compact it, put it back, and then Open it in the console?

You may want to run an extra backup first.  But other than that: yes.
