Newbies moonboy Posted July 10, 2002 Newbies Posted July 10, 2002 Hi. I am new to filemaker and don't really understand what it's all about. It has been suggested that we use filemaker to create reports. The thing is, the reports I am generating need to be viewable via the web. Is filemaker a suitable tool for this application? I can't seem to find any reference to publishing reports to the web, or anything like that. Thanks
Geeksharka Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 The short answer? Yes! FMP publishes online very well, especially with help of middleware like Lasso (see the Internet forums on all this). If you're new to all this, and just need to get FMP generated reports online (but not in real-time) you could also have FMP create the reports as needed, and make PDF's out of them to post online for users to download. Good luck.
