View more fields in table view

By asking this question, I'm actually hoping to get an answer as well as advice. Since I'm new with FM, I may not know what I'm doing, so I'm hoping that maybe someone might respond with something like, "Well, first off, you're doing it all wrong. Here's what you should do...".

Anyways, here's my question: How do I get the table view to show more than 65 or so fields?

And here's what I'm doing. I have a bunch of forms created with MS Word. I want to convert to FM, so that I have a database, rather than a bunch of Word files. I've saved the data from the forms into a comma-separated text file and then imported this into file maker pro. Now the thing is, there's about 1200 fields. So I've run into 2 problems/concerns. First, is the fact that I can't see more than 65 fields in table view. Second, the Word form is 31 pages long (landscape). I've found out that FM only supports 111 inches in layout mode, so I run out of space for all the fields. Is there a way to get around this? Or do I just have to create a second layout with whatever doesn't fit in the first?

Sorry if this is a bit confusing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
