I'm not exactly sure which form to post this one under?

Can you program your Function keys (windows) to be used in Filemaker?

ie.. F2 = New Record

If so can you point me in the right direction so I can read up on this.

Thanx

There are many programs on the market that allow you to assign F keys to most all programs, including FileMaker. What FileMaker dose offer is the ability to assign F keys to scripts. All you have to do is write a script and click the check box to the left of the script and you're good to go.

Well, it isn't an 'F' key. It allows you to assign the number keys to a script along with the CTRL key (CMD on a Mac)

So, you can assign CTRL & 1 - 0 to scripts.
