Also ... If I upgrade one of my computers to 6.0 and open a database in the 6.0 ... Will I have to upgrade all of my other 5.5 computers to open that file or can I use both 5.5 and 6.0?

Andrew,

The only reason to upgrade to version 6 is if you want to use the new features found in that version.
