tandrews Posted February 14, 2003 Posted February 14, 2003 I have an odd problem... I have an fp5 file called "Survey" sitting on a server (Macintosh G3). I have FileMaker 5.5 installed on the server and can open the "Survey" file without a problem. If I try copying the "Survey" file from the server to another workstation ... or even try opening the file from a workstation connected to the server I get the following error: "Survey.fp5" was not created by FileMaker or is severely damaged and cannot be opened. Any idea what might be happening here? TIA, Tony Andrews
webcat Posted February 16, 2003 Posted February 16, 2003 you might try quitting filemaker server and then copying the file over the network. If you have already done that, then there is something very wrong somewhere!
