We run SMS 2.0 in our organization, and for compatibility reasons need to hold for a while at filemaker pro 5.5. Problem is, the Package Defination File included with 5.5 is not appearing to our SMS server as a valid file. We have a demo copy of 6.0 which has a def file that works great. I have managed to throw the phone tech pretty badly - he's more used to answering questions about queries than network management, and doesn't really speak the language.

I've tried reinstalling the def file directly from the cdrom, but it is most certainly a bad def file as included. Does anyone have an example of a valid 5.5 sms file?
