I have a Filemaker 5 Server/Host in an Apple OS9 Network with several Clients.

In the Filemaker Database the User can listen to many Soundfiles, normally.

Sometimes the linking is lost and you get the error message "File could not be found...locate file again".

The Database and the soundfiles are on the same server but on different harddrives. Is that a problem?

Sometimes when you relink a file the other files in the same folder are atomically relinkt too.
