Editing Inserted Objects.

I'm hoping that someone will have a suggestion on a different method to edit inserted objects. Currently, I have an inserted object (bmp file) that is activated and edited in Microsoft Paint by the user. The user is working with a tablet pc that allows them to edit the bmp with a pen. This works. However, it is slow as Microsoft Paint has to open and close for each editing occurence. Is there another option to allow the inserted object to be edited with a pen in Filemaker. I have seen a program to allow signature input in Filemaker. Is there a plug-in or program that allows drawing functions in Filemaker? I would be grateful for any suggestions.

There were some tools of this type available from Abstrakt, but I believe they were MacOS only (and it sounds like you are working on Windows).
