How can I find installation code of FM 5 for MAC 9.2 ??

I have bunch of client FileMakers, and there's this one Mac 9.2 machine I need to format and reload.

I don't remember which physical copy of FileMaker is on it, but I want to load it after I format the drive. Otherwise i will be getting network errors, like "max no of clients is on the network, etc."

In OS X I think it's in the Preferences folder, but in OS 9 I don't see it.

If it is already on the machine, doesn't the installation code appear in the splash screen when FileMaker starts up? I can't remember, but I thought it did. Otherwise, yeah, you'd have to open (I believe) the preferences file with ResEdit or something like that.

Depending on the version, it displays all except the last four characters of the install code.
