Filemaker Pro 6 has no vertical scrolling using a trackball or mouse (Kensington and Microsoft products) with the mac under system OSX in Jaguar and Panther?

I bought FM6 but am forced to still use FM Pro 4 under system 9 because under sys 9 and earlier, vertical scrolling has ALWAYS worked on all of my mice and trackballs with scolling buttons.

A medal to the person who can tell me how to fix this so I can go back to using my version of FMPro 6 on Panther.

is the status area visible? try showing the status area. You should be able to scroll.

It's not so much whether the status area is visible (or not) but whether it's locked. Scrolling is disabled when the status area is locked.

The status area is visible and you are saying that it has to do with whether it is locked.

How do I lock or unlock the status area.

What does locked mean.

On my mac, I just want to use the blue scroll bars with my scrolling mouse on the right side of the window.
