Hi all,

I'm a newbie here, but an FMP user since the early 90's. It wasn't "Pro" back then.

Anyhow, I'd like to find out what the current state of FMP as it relates to eCommerce these days. I put up some databases using https, Tango and FileMaker years ago ('96), but haven't done any of that lately.

I now need to set up a secure license renewal system and would like to use FileMaker, since that's where all the base data resides. It'll need to verify and accept credit cards and print a receipt for the customer. It'll also need to be cheap, since we don't have much money now and will probably be cut back soon (govt office). We have Server Unlimited 6 and Developer 6.

I know Waves in Motion makes some credit card stuff. Does anyone else?

I hear FMP 7 will have SSL. Do you think that would be worth waiting for?

Anyone know this area? Are there any good resources covering thus stuff on the web?
