I can see that in the future, when developers using the FMDev create custom functions.

You will need to keep your laptop with them at all times should the need arise to modify

one of your custom functions. As most end clients will only be running FMP7.

Hey, custom functions are something you can actually sell if they are generic enough. test, test, test them before use.

Think of them as a replacement for plugins, and you don't compile those on a daily basis ...

Is this a crazy thought, or could one install FMD on a USB stick and transport it like that? I'd have tried it here, but my USB stick is old and holds only 60Mb, FMD requires a minimal space of about 120Mb.
