newbie web publishing issue - input boxes missing

Hi

I am new to publishing FMP files on the web. Until i can find a good cdml resource i am using the "web companion".

Anyway - it does'nt matter which "view" i choose from the pre-established FMP pull down (gray, blue-yellow, lavendar...) when i view my DB through the web browser on a mac or pc, the form elements, specifically the input boxes are partially cut off or missing altogether - especially on the submit a new record page.

Any one know what i could be doing wrong?

um, well i guess it's a duplicate in that i also posted under the IWP in the Publishing Filemaker online forum. Is it not considered appropriate to ask the same question in two different forum areas?

still hoping for any help...
